M.A. and Pat started the association with Bert in the 1980s to care for the park and to host community events. In those 30 years we have raised money for all the play equipment in the park except for the sturdy swings! We have cared for the trees and planted new ones. We have welcomed hundreds of people into the park for our events such as the Summer Fete, Hallo’een Parade, Festive Gathering and the Easter Egg Hunt and to Partick Burgh Halls for the Burn’s Night Ceilidh.

In 2014 we host a Commonwealth Celebration, The Dear Green Games on 22nd June and we have engaged play-space designers to develop our park space for the next generation.
