Thrilled to announce National Lottery Community Funding for 2024

Huge thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund for awarding Hayburn Playpark Association with funding to host our events in the park later this year and also to maintain and insure our community eBike. Watch this space for more information coming soon!

The National Lottery Community Fund, Scotland Chair, Kate Still said: “Every day National Lottery funding is changing the lives of thousands of people in communities across Scotland for the better. This project delivered by Hayburn Playpark Association, is a great example of community activity in action, showing just what can be achieved when people come together for a common cause or to help others.

“National Lottery players can be proud to know that the money they raise is helping to support this vital work which is making a real difference to so many.”

Repairs and Upkeep

Huge thanks to Alex and Tam at PlayAK who have completed the repairs to our wooden fencing, the back of the goals, new handles on the seesaw and the monkey bars and fitted our new legs to the slide! Thanks to William at the Sculpture Studio for making our two new legs and Chris for doing the wee bit of welding that needed done before we could fit them. So happy that we’ve been able to fix the slide as it was scheduled to be removed by the council because it was broken. Repair not remove is our motto in Hayburn Park!

Big Lunch 2023

Thanks to everyone who came along to The Big Lunch today – the weather was kind and we got two hours of almost sun and lots of fun! Huge thanks to Morrison’s Partick for donating teas, coffees, juice, biscuits and prizes and Sainsburys Crow Road for donating strawberries and cream, scones, milk and eggs for the egg and spoon race!
